3M™ Embossed Tin-Plated Copper Shielding Tape 1345
The 1345 tape utilizes an embossed, tin-plated copper foil backing coated with an acrylic adhesive. It is specifically designed to provide reliable electrical conductivity, stable contact resistance, and effective EMI shielding by establishing contact through the adhesive layer to the application substrate.
Applications include: A variety of markets including electronics, electrical, industrial equipment, and aerospace, where the tape is used for grounding and EMI shielding of equipment, components, cables, and shielded rooms requiring consistent conductivity and flame-retardant performance.
- Embossed, tin-plated copper foil backing resists discoloration and oxidation
- Embossed foil construction cuts through the adhesive layer to establish contact between the backing and the application substrate
- Provides stable contact resistance and effective EMI shielding performance
- Designed for grounding and EMI shielding in equipment, components, and shielded rooms
- Flame-retardant construction suitable for electrically demanding applications
- Performs across a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 266 °F (-40 to 130 °C)
- Tin-plated coating offers outstanding solderability
- Supplied on a removable liner for easy handling and die cutting
- Rated for 600V dry applications
- UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant
