3M™ 3340 Aluminum Foil Tape
3M™ Foil Tape 3340 is a professional-grade, UL 181A-P and UL 181B-FX listed aluminum foil tape designed for permanent sealing, insulation, and vapor barrier applications in HVAC systems and a broad range of industrial environments. Constructed with a 2.0 mil dead-soft aluminum foil backing, a high-performance pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive, and an easy-release poly-coated kraft paper liner, this tape offers long-term durability and reliable performance in both hot and cold conditions. It's very low moisture vapor transmission rate helps maintain system integrity, while the foil backing delivers excellent resistance to UV, moisture, dust, and chemical exposure.
Applications include: HVAC duct closure and insulation sealing, vapor barrier for reinforced fiberglass duct board, sealing, thermal shielding and light reflectivity.
