3M™ 425 and 427 Aluminum Foil Tapes
3M™ Aluminum Foil Tapes 425 and 427 are high-performance metal-backed tapes designed for demanding thermal, electrical, and moisture barrier applications. These tapes are the go-to choice for a broad range of challenging applications. They conform easily to irregular surfaces while providing excellent heat reflectivity, conductivity, and chemical resistance. 3M 425 is a standard roll version, while 3M 427 is a linered version for die-cutting and more precise application processes. Both are engineered for long-lasting adhesion and performance in a range of extreme conditions.
Applications include: Heat shielding, EMI/RFI shielding, moisture barriers, chemical masking, and high-temperature sealing.
- Excellent heat reflectivity and conductivity
- Flame, chemical, UV, weathering, and moisture resistant
- 427 version includes liner for die-cutting and precision use
