3M™ 433 and 433L High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape
3M™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape 433 and 433L (linered version) are high-performance metal foil tapes engineered for demanding heat shielding, splicing, and sealing applications. The tapes feature a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive that delivers a consistent, secure bond across a wide variety of surfaces, even under extreme thermal stress. These tapes are flame-resistant (meeting F.A.R. 25.853(a)) and UL Recognized, making them ideal for aerospace, automotive, military, and electronics applications. They are suitable for heat shielding inside ovens, wrapping insulation, or holding aluminum foil during metal annealing.
Applications include: High-temperature heat shielding, thermal insulation wrap, aluminum foil splicing, covering heating elements or wires.
- Ideal for aerospace, military, automotive, and electronics applications
- Excellent thermal stability and long-term adhesion under extreme heat
- 433L version includes liner for die-cutting and precise placement
