3M™ Impact Stripping Tape 500
3M™ Impact Stripping Tape 500 is a specially compounded, light green rubber-backed tape with a transparent acrylic adhesive and an easy-release liner. It's designed for masking and surface protection during dry media blast paint removal and other blasting applications. The rubber backing is formulated to withstand impact from common blasting media, including aluminum oxide, steel shot, glass bead, and plastic media. At the same time, the acrylic adhesive provides excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces. The liner is die-cuttable and easy-release.
Applications include: Overspray masking for blasting applications, plastic media blast (PMB) paint-stripping operations, stencil designs for wood and glass signs
