3M™ UHMW Polyethylene Tape 9325
3M™ UHMW Polyethylene Tape 9325 combines a UHMW polyethylene backing with a high-tack acrylic adhesive to control squeaks and rattles caused by vibration or wear in metal and plastic parts. The tape outlasts many PTFE tapes and other materials in sliding applications and withstands up to 1000 cycles of Taber Abrasion testing without wearing through. It can also be used in applications where lubrication isn't an option due to contamination.
Applications include: Automotive instrument panel and interior noise reduction, noise reduction between the rim fascia and painted metal, noise reduction on doors, reducing squeaks and rattles caused by movement, and industrial sliding or wear applications requiring very high adhesion.
