3M™ Ultra Conformable Flashing Tape 3015UC
3M™ Ultra Conformable Flashing Tape 3015UC is a proprietary 3M detailing tape designed for the commercial construction market and intended for use with a 3M Commercial Air Barrier System. Its unique backing allows up to 370% elongation in multiple directions, enabling contractors to detail windows and other complex penetrations up to 40% faster by eliminating the need to cut and splice multiple pieces of tape. The 3M acrylic adhesive allows application at temperatures as low as 0°F and as high as 150°F, and the tape can be exposed to UV sunlight for up to 12 months.
Applications include: Sealing around rough openings and joints in commercial buildings; sealing through-wall flashing penetrations, such as ducts, conduits, cables, and pipes; conforming to through-wall penetrations around electrical cables and chimneys to prevent air, moisture, and water intrusion; recommended for construction types 1 through 4.
