3M™ VHB™ Tape Max-060GF
3M™ VHB™ Tape Max-060GF is the thinnest tape in the Max Series at 0.6 mm (25 mil). It features a firm acrylic foam core with acrylic adhesive on both sides and a PE film liner. When used with 3M™ VHB™ Tape Max Promoter, it forms an immediate bond with metals, glass, and many paints and plastics, providing handling strength and replacing rivets, welds, and mechanical fasteners. This fast, easy-to-use bonding method delivers high strength and long-term durability.
Applications include: Panel-to-frame bonding, stiffener and bracket attachments, rub rails and trim, dissimilar-material bonding, and general static-load applications, used in OEM equipment, box trucks and dry vans, appliances, building components, buses, specialty vehicles, HVAC equipment, general industrial equipment, and auto displays.
