3M™ Weather Resistant Film Tape 838
3M™ Weather Resistant Film Tape 838 features a strong, thin Tedlar® PVF backing and a high-shear, solvent-resistant acrylic adhesive for long-term weather-resistant protection. The Tedlar® backing provides strength without added thickness, and its film properties deliver excellent resistance to weathering, outstanding mechanical properties, and inertness toward a wide variety of chemicals, solvents, and staining agents. Because it contains no plasticizers, the tape ages well, remaining tough and flexible over a broad temperature range.
Applications include: Sealing seams on outdoor building panels, windows, and doors, and similar severe-exposure applications; hinge seal on shower doors; sealing critical areas to prevent moisture intrusion
