BISCO® HT-870
Rogers BISCO® HT-870 Silicone Foam is a soft, open-cell silicone foam designed to deliver low closure force with improved sealing capability. Offering a slightly firmer structure than BF-1000, HT-870 maintains exceptional compressibility while providing enhanced resistance to compression set, UV, ozone, and extreme temperatures. With its long-term durability and ability to meet stringent flame resistance standards, HT-870 is ideal for sealing and cushioning in enclosures, transportation, and electronics applications.
Applications include: Cold supply chains, gap filling, gasketing and sealing, LCD gaskets, shock absorption, and vibration management.
- Highly adaptable to various environments
- Softness allows protective seals that use less force
- High compressibility enables material to conform to variable width gaps, allowing greater design flexibility
- Reduces maintenance costs associated with gasket failures due to compression set and softening
