CHR® 2915-10 Glass-Cloth Tape
Saint-Gobain CHR® 2915-10 is engineered with a heat-resistant fiberglass cloth backing coated with a silicone adhesive designed to withstand high temperatures. CHR 2915 is available in 0.178 mm (7 mil) and 0.254 mm (10 mil) thicknesses, with 2915-10 representing the heavier 10-mil option. It's an exceptionally strong, abrasion-resistant tape that provides maximum solvent resistance, along with excellent temperature resistance and thermal stability. It can be used in applications requiring continuous temperatures up to 260°C.
Applications include: General industrial electrical maintenance, high-temperature splicing and wrapping, overwrap for motor rewinds, protective wrapping for wires and cables, high-temperature masking tape for welding stainless steel, and light-duty plasma or flame-spray masking tape
