CHR® 2915-7 Glass-Cloth Tape
Saint-Gobain CHR® 2915-7 is engineered with a heat-resistant fiberglass cloth backing coated with a silicone adhesive that withstands high temperatures. It's an exceptionally strong, abrasion-resistant tape that provides maximum solvent resistance and excellent temperature resistance and thermal stability. It can be used in applications requiring continuous temperatures up to 260°C, meets MIL-I-19166C U.S. Government specifications, and is available with or without a liner.
Applications include: General industrial electrical maintenance, high-temperature splicing and wrapping, overwrap for motor rewinds, protective wrapping for wires and cables, high-temperature masking tape for welding stainless steel, and light-duty plasma or flame-spray masking tape
