EMI.8107 Glass Cloth Tape
EMI.8107 is a heat-resistant glass cloth tape featuring a tightly woven glass cloth backing and a high-temperature, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. It was designed specifically as a coil wrap for capacitors and transformers, offering a 200 °C insulation class and 2,500 volts of dielectric strength. Beyond coil wrapping, the tape also seals and bundles in applications that require high-temperature resistance and flame retardancy. EMI.8107 meets MIL-I-19166C and has passed UL510 flammability testing.
Applications include: Coil wrap for capacitors and transformers, sealing and bundling where high temperature resistance and flame retardancy are required
