Saint-Gobain Norseal® Acrylic Sealing Tape AST 5010

Saint-Gobain Norseal® AST 5010 is a single-coated, 1 mm white acrylic sealing tape built around a permanent ionomeric carrier film, designed for overlap seams and joints across a wide range of challenging applications. Its highly flexible acrylic foam delivers watertight sealing on irregular and rough surfaces and provides high tack and end adhesion to both high- and low-surface-energy materials. The tape is rated for outdoor use, offering excellent vapor blockage and UV resistance, and can be overlaid to seal wide gaps under vibration and thermal cycling. A backside liner supports direct application and is removed after initial pressure, revealing a paintable, abrasion-resistant surface.

Applications include: Sealing roof seams on trucks, trailers, trains, buses, and RVs; body panel joints and trim seams; roof joints and overlaps, including on polycarbonate roofs; skylights, gutters, flashing, and ventilation ducts; HVAC ducts, air units, and pipelines; metal building joints and enclosures; boat hatches and marine windows; outdoor electrical boxes; and leak patching and waterproofing for windows, doors, sheds, and greenhouses.
