Saint-Gobain Norseal® Acrylic Sealing Tape AST 5110

Saint-Gobain Norseal® AST 5110 is a 1 mm gray acrylic sealing tape that delivers the same watertight performance as the rest of the AST line, in a color suited to darker substrates and finishes. The highly flexible acrylic foam conforms to irregular and rough surfaces, provides high tack and end adhesion on high- and low-surface-energy materials, and the permanent ionomeric carrier film resists abrasion while remaining paintable. Rated for outdoor use with strong vapor blockage and UV resistance, the tape can be overlaid to seal wide gaps under vibration and thermal cycling.

Applications include: Sealing roof seams on trucks, trailers, trains, buses, and RVs; body panel joints and trim seams; roof joints and overlaps, including on polycarbonate roofs; skylights, gutters, flashing, and ventilation ducts; HVAC ducts, air units, and pipelines; metal building joints and enclosures; boat hatches and marine windows; outdoor electrical boxes; and leak patching and waterproofing for windows, doors, sheds, and greenhouses.
