Saint-Gobain® Norseal® 10480S Silicone Sponge
Saint-Gobain® Norseal® R10480S Silicone Sponge is a soft-density, closed-cell silicone sponge material engineered for high-performance gasketing, thermal insulation, and environmental sealing applications. Designed to maintain resiliency under prolonged compression, R10480S delivers excellent resistance to temperature extremes, moisture, and aging, making it an ideal solution for demanding aerospace, electronics, defense, and outdoor equipment environments. Its low compression force and superior recovery ensure long-term sealing without degradation.
Applications include: Missiles, drones, GPS, digital signage, walkie talkies, environmental gasketing, noise reduction, clamping high temp parts, and electrolysis reduction between dissimilar metals.
- Long term weatherability and service life
- Good temperature resistance
- Available in multiple thicknesses (1/32" to 1/2") and widths
